Tips for proper maintenance of internal mixer

The mechanical equipment needs regular maintenance to keep the equipment in good operation for a long time. The same is true for the internal mixer. So how to maintain the internal mixer? Here are some tips:


The maintenance of internal mixer can be divided into four stages: daily maintenance, weekly maintenance, monthly maintenance and annual maintenance


1. Daily maintenance


(1) Check whether the internal mixer operates normally. If any problem is found, deal with it in time. Check that there are no foreign matters around the equipment, especially metals and insoluble substances such as silk bags and wool heads. Check the rotation of twin-screw. Pay attention not to enter foreign matters;


(2) Whether the air circuit, lubricating oil circuit and hydraulic oil circuit leak (whether each transmission component has abnormal sound);


(3) Whether the temperature of each bearing part is normal (the thermometer corrects the heating temperature);


(4) Whether the rotor end face seal leaks glue (whether there is leakage at each connecting part);


(5) Whether the indication of each indicating instrument is normal (whether the function of each valve is intact) and remove the dust and dirt on the equipment surface.


2. Weekly maintenance


(1) Check whether the fastening bolts of each part are loose (each transmission bearing is lubricated with oil);


(2) Whether the oil level of oil tank and reducer meets the requirements (the movable chain and sprocket are lubricated with grease once);


(3) Sealing of discharge door;


(4) Whether the hydraulic system, temperature control system, air control system and electrical control system are normal (the bottom valve of the filter element in the compressed air transmission pipeline must be drained).


3. Monthly maintenance


(1) Disassemble and check the wear of the fixed ring and moving ring of the rotor end face sealing device of the internal mixer, and clean it;


(2) Check whether the oil pressure and quantity of lubricating oil of sealing device meet the requirements;


(3) Check the working conditions of feeding door cylinder and pressing cylinder of internal mixer, and clean the oil-water separator;


(4) Check the working conditions of gear coupling and rod tip coupling of internal mixer;


(5) Check whether the internal mixer cooling system works normally;


(6) Check whether the seal of the rotary joint of the internal mixer is worn and whether there is leakage;


(7) Check whether the unloading door locking device of the internal mixer operates flexibly and whether the opening and closing time meets the specified requirements.


(8) Check whether the contact position between the cushion block on the door seat of the falling unloading door and the cushion block on the locking device is within the specified range, and adjust if there is any abnormality;


(9) Check the wear of locking cushion block and unloading cushion block, and apply lubricating oil on the contact surface;


(10) Check the clearance between the sliding discharge door of the mixer and the retaining ring and between the mixing chamber.


4. Annual maintenance


(1) Check whether the internal mixer cooling system and temperature control system are crud and deal with them;


(2) Check the wear of the gear teeth of the internal mixer. If the wear is serious, replace it;


(3) Check whether the radial clearance and axial movement of each bearing of the internal mixer are within the specified range;


(4) Check whether the clearance between the rotor protruding edge of the internal mixer and the front wall of the internal mixing chamber, between the rotor end face and the side wall of the internal mixing chamber, between the weight and the feeding port, and between the convex edges of the two Zhuangzi is within the allowable range;


(5) Including daily maintenance, weekly maintenance and monthly maintenance.


Maintenance depends on persistence. Long term maintenance of the internal mixer can not only keep the equipment in good operation and reduce the occurrence of faults, but also effectively prolong the service life of the internal mixer.
